A campus without walls is great, but
when it comes to dating, it can make meeting other students surprisingly difficult.
With a smaller Greek life scene, busy schedules, and no central campus, many NYU students struggle to meet people and actually go on dates.
Dating apps are an option, but most lead to endless swiping and a string of “almost dates.”
That’s where Cupid’s Interns comes in. Matches are personalized based on introspective questions and curated by NYU students — not an algorithm or AI. You’re not paired with someone random; you get an instant date with another NYU student.
We set it up. You show up.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the matchmaking process work?
Cupid’s Interns uses a form containing introspective questions to understand who you are and what you’re actually looking for. Matches are thoughtfully curated by the team — not algorithms or AI — and result in a real, instant date with another NYU student.
Who can participate in your speed dating events?
We will post details on event flyers and the website. Participation is specific to the event.
How do you ensure my privacy and safety?
Your privacy is our priority. We conduct identity verification for all participants, and you choose when (and if) to exchange contact information with your match. All dates take place in safe, public locations.
How long will it take to be matched?
Match timing depends on student availability and your responses. Some matches happen instantly, while others may take one to two weeks to ensure the right fit. Submitting the form allows us to match you as soon as the right opportunity comes along.
